Hello Family,

As I try to quiet my heart to connect w/ Jesus tonight, the Holy Spirit has led me to Isaiah 9:6-7.  This passage is a beautiful reminder of what Jesus is and has been for me, and I hope for you too, this year.  Listen to these prophetic words:

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore.  The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.”

Jesus has been in control of my life and the life of our church as an amazingly wonderful counselor.  I’ve seen Him move throughout our church this year using me and others to bring forth His care and compassion and abundant fruit in the lives of His people.  I’ve witnessed His power and might.  He’s moved mountains and made ways out of no way.  In my weakness throughout this year, He’s been made powerful and strong.  He persists in being a father that sticks close to His children.  He doesn’t waiver, nor does He get fatigued and quit on us.  He prevails and travails on behalf of His children.  As well, He’s brought great peace when when my soul and the souls of others who were fretful, troubled, and concerned.  He’s poured forth His peace on those who have had challenges, difficulties and uncertainties come their way.  God has been good!  Praise His Holy Name!

Our just and righteous God is worthy of every ounce of praise that we can muster up in our hearts and through our lips.  May His name be praised!

His name will be exalted tomorrow as we gather at Christ Covenant at 3:00pm.  JOIN US and bring your heart of praise to celebrate all that God is and has been to you this year!  Bring your families and friends as well.

Additionally, as we seek to raise 500K for our new building up-fit, please consider giving a sizable year-end gift or whatever you can afford to our church on behalf of our building project.  Ask God how much He desires for you to give to this project and give it.  We are asking God to provide all that we need!

Check this out – God is already moving!  A dear friend of mine named Pastor Brian Lowe, Lead Pastor of Exodus Church (Belmont), and his elders have agreed to write Wellspring a check for $5,000 for our building project.  Look at God!!!  This is so kind of them and even more evidence of His grace upon us.  Please consider giving tomorrow to this project or matching or doubling Exodus’ gift.

I’m believing that God will lead you and abundantly provide for us.  Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.  Please pray for our time and for me as I preach the Word.

Grace and peace,

Pastor Bond

What a beautiful message, Pastor Bond! Thank you for sharing your
reflections and encouraging us to reflect as well. I am pumped about what
God is doing with our building and so grateful for His provision! Will miss
y’all tomorrow but I’ll be praying.
